5 Benefits of Matcha

1.You get a jolt (of energy) without the jitters

Matcha drinkers boast that the green drink is a great coffee alternative that won’t leave you with the caffeine jitters that affect many coffee drinkers. The caffeine high you get from macha is a smooth and happy ride. It does not raise your blood pressure or your heart rate.

2.The high lasts longer

Yep, it’s true. Matcha’s caffeine levels are higher and will leave you with energy for longer than an average cup of joe or a shot of espresso for that matter. Only downside here is that you may need to drink earlier than the afternoon if you plan to go to sleep on time in the evening.

3. It’s full of antioxidants.

Compared to regular green tea, it possesses 137 times more antioxidants that help your body fight off disease and prevents premature aging.

4. It will help you lose weight

That’s right-drink up! If you already exercising and trying to eat healthy, matcha can help you shed extra weight by boosting your metabolism and helping you burn fat

5.It won’t break your pocket book

You can purchase your own matcha powder and create your own matcha drinks from scratch at a fraction of the cost you would pay at a coffee shop.
